About Carissa

Carissa Little, MS, CCC-SLP, graduated with a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Montana in 2011. She has worked in the hospital setting treating both inpatient and outpatient clients with a variety of speech, language, cognitive, swallow, and voice disorders since completing her Masters degree in 2011.

She has enjoyed working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the fast paced hospital environment and is ready to start a new career path. Carissa is passionate about providing high quality, evidenced based intervention to help individuals meet their therapy goals.

Carissa opened Voice and Swallow Therapy Clinic in 2024 to serve a more specialized patient population and limit her scope of practice to voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders resulting from various etiologies.

Carissa relocated to the Denver area in 2015 from her home state of Montana. She loves living in Colorado, exploring new areas, and spending time with her friends and family.
